Call for Presentations (Deadline: 1 September)

Members only: Apply for funding to travel to the 2016 Alliance Meeting! (Deadline 1 August)

The Annual Meeting of the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations brings together ALS/MND associations from around the world to share initiatives and develop strategies for fighting ALS/MND and serving people who live with the disease. Attendance is encouraged for all Alliance members, and people living with ALS/MND are welcomed as participants or observers.

The Ask The Experts session will be organised by the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, and information can be found here or on their website as it becomes available.

We encourage all of our members to submit a presentation proposal to be considered for inclusion on the 2016 Alliance Meeting programme agenda. Presentations are limited to Alliance members only. The 2016 Call for Presentations will be available through a link on this page when it is distributed. The annual deadline is 15 September.

The Alliance Meeting immediately precedes the 14th Allied Professionals Forum and the 27th International Symposium on ALS/MND and will be held in Dublin, Ireland.  The Alliance Meeting schedule is as follows:

  • 3 December 2016 – Alliance Board of Directors Meeting (Board of Directors only)
  • 4 December 2016 – Annual General Meeting
  • 4-5 December 2016 – Annual Alliance Meeting
  • 5 December 2016 (afternoon) – Ask The Experts

At the discretion of the Board of Directors, the Alliance offers Alliance Support Grant funding to assist members who would not otherwise be able to afford to attend the Annual Alliance Meeting. The annual deadline is 1 September. Click here to download an application.
